Beachside Paradise is a beautiful, oceanfront beach home featuring an open floor plan and gorgeous floor to ceiling windows facing the ocean, perfect for taking in the famous Atlantic Ocean and our pristine beaches!
The entire home has recently overgone a remodel (2022), with new furnishings throughout, new flooring, new paint, and kitchen appliances! Not only that, but a NEW floor plan upstairs!
Now there are two master bedrooms upstairs, both with their own private and full bathrooms, king sized beds, and a shared access balcony between them!
The entire downstairs is the main living area with a very open floor plan, featuring a huge Family Room, Dining Area, Kitchen, and even a breakfast bar; all with plenty of windows to enjoy the panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean.
Check out the new kitchen, with its completely overhauled beautiful new countertops, cabinets, and most importantly, appliances!
The deck includes areas perfect for sunbathing, a small shaded space, and of course, a grill! From the deck, it’s only a few steps down to the beach, and the waves and sand that await you!
The downstairs also has an oceanfront bedroom (Bedroom 3) with a queen-sized bed and its own sliding glass doors that go straight out to the deck. As soon as you wake up you’ll see beautiful sunrises and the great Atlantic Ocean. Lucky few will spot dolphins jumping out of the water and pelicans diving to catch their fish of the day.
Bedroom 4 is often called the “Kids Room”, which includes two twin sized beds. There are no ocean views, but that’s no problem for the kids, who can find plenty to do on the beach. They will enjoy looking for shark’s teeth and seashells, building sandcastles, boogie boarding, surfing, or even surf fishing.
Special note for our disabled firends and people who don’t much care for climbing steps! The entire first floor is handicap 'Friendly' not ADA Compliant. All the common living areas, the two downstairs bedrooms, and a full bathroom (with a convenient walk-in shower stall) are all on ground floor level. However, this is a 2-story unit with no elevator! But the good news is there are only the two master bedrooms and bathrooms on the top floor, everything else is on the ground floor.
The upstairs has two spacious bedrooms, called Bedroom 1 and Bedroom 2. When you get to the top of the stairs to your left is a full bathroom right off the 1st Bedroom. This bedroom has a King size bed and a shared balcony to enjoy the view and ocean breezes. The 2nd bedroom to the right of the stairs is the Master Suite with a king size bed, full en-suite bathroom and it also has a shared balcony with the Bedroom 1.
Imagine stepping from your bedroom, stepping out onto your balcony, and soaking up the famous Florida sunrise!
Other than the two bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs, everything else is on the ground floor. In other words, you don't have to climb 30 steps to get into the home. Instead, you walk up zero steps into the home and only about 6 steps down to be on the beach.
What a great life! Although technically not a private beach (the people of the state of Florida owns the beach) it feels very private and pristine.
This vacation home has everything you need for the perfect vacation; a nearly private beach, a fully equipped kitchen, free high speed wireless internet, board games, TV's, and DVR's. You will find the brand new furniture in the Living Room more than comfortable and perfect for a home on the beach, great for relaxing and spending time with family and friends.
After a day or two to just unwind at the beach, you may want to try this: Drive south for about 10 minutes and you will be in historic St Augustine, 'The Oldest City in America'. Here you can tour the original 400+ year old fort, take a horse and carriage tour, or check out the shops on famous St. George Street. St. Augustine offers restaurants from family style on a pier to gourmet restaurants. There's plenty of family fun sightseeing, dining, shopping and recreation!
Disclosure 1: Minimum Stay Requirements
Please be sure to check if your requested dates have minimum stay requirements. If your proposed dates are on or near a national holiday OR during the peak months of June and July, the minimum stay is 7 nights with a Saturday arrival and departure. Be sure to check YOUR dates before reserving. Exception to minimum stay rule: If there are less days available than the minimum stay required, then the Minimum Stay Rule is not required. However, all bookings must be a minimum of 3 nights.
Disclosure 2: Limited Deck Availability Due to Hurricane Nicole.
The inclement weather and subsequent damages necessitated the replacement of the bulkhead. As a result, we currently have only a half deck available. The other side of the missing deck has sand for the kids to play in.
Disclosure 3: Beach Toy Liability
Any beach toys are considered to be dangerous and guests may use them at their own risk. The guests understand that the owners and management company are NOT liable for the use of beach toys . In St. Augustine you can tour the original 400+ year old fort, take a horse and carriage tour or check out the shops on famous St George Street. St Augustine offers restaurants from a family style on a pier to quaint gourmet restaurants. There's plenty of family fun of sightseeing, dining, shopping and recreation in St Augustine.
If you drive north about 10 minutes you will find the upscale, Ponte Vedra; the home of PGA's TPC at Sawgrass, "Tournament Players Championship", where you can see IF you can hit the green or land in the water (like the pros) on the famous 17th "Island" green.
Besides world class golf, Ponte Vedra also has tennis and some of the finest restaurants in the country, including "Ruth's Chris".
